Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forum, but I'm so glad that I found it. I am on day 12 of my Colonix program, and I am getting this horrible and lingering headache. I've followed Dr. Natura's directions. I've ate well. Drank plenty of water. But for some reason, I have this awful headache that just wont go away. And I need some advice for others whom have taken Colonix.
For the first five days or so, I felt horrible! I was severely constipated, bloated, backaches, Irritable, and then there was this headache. At times, I thought my head was gonna explode. I've taken Advil, Excedrin, Tylenol, and BC Powder, none of which has helped. I've taken days off from work to just lay in my bed in the dark, because I just couldn't get up. My constipation has started to recede, and now I'm having one large BM about every other day. (no ropes) My backache is gone. BUT, this headache is still lingering. And I'm starting to get desperate.
I've posted in other forums trying to find a solution, but everyone just questions whether or not I'm drinking enough water. So, before you ask, I want to say that I am drinking nothing but water, juice and tea since starting the Colonix cleanse. I've exceeded the recommended eight 8oz. glasses of water. So do you think that I could be drinking too much water? Is that even possible when you are trying to detox?
I don't know. I feel lost. I'm no expert on this subject matter. But I was convinced by all of Dr. Natura's testimonials that this would improve my overall health, but I'm not experiencing any of the "Benefits" that all the testimonials have claimed they had. I'm very disappointed in Colonix so far at this point. All it's done is made me feel like crap. (no pun intended.)
Honestly, I'm starting to feel like I was scammed, and that doesn't make me too happy. It has NOT improved my overall health, it's only caused my overall health to decrease to the point that it hurts to get out of bed. So please, if anyone can give me some advice about what I can do, to improve my Colonix Experience, please let me know. I'm open to any and all suggestions.
Thank you in advance.

I have heard that a lot of people feel horrible when going through a detox. It's the poison's being released and eliminated. That could be what's happening and you just have to ride it out a while. However, I'm no doctor and certainly won't tell you that is what's happening to you. Perhaps you're allergic to one of the ingredients. However, if the headaches didn't happen right away that may not be the issue. Also, some people say you can't drink too much water, but that's not true. If you drink too much, especially at once, you through off your electrolite balance. A woman recently died drinking too much water on a dare on the radio. I think it was something like 2 gallons, which is excessive. But what happened is she ruined her electrolite balance and went into cardiac arrest, or something. I don't remember the facts. Also, if you are getting off of caffeine or sugar, those will give you serious headache. It's a type of withdrawall So is rage, depression, etc. Those kinds of things will pass in just a couple days. I would say if your headache continues for more than a couple days you might want to stop the colonix and see if that helps.
Good luck to you.

I agree with LNC's comments. If you have other underlying health issues or chronic problems that may be contributing to the trouble. It sounds like the headache has become a more recent issue so it may well be a detox or withdrawal issue if you are adjusting your diet as well. Is the headache different from ones you've had before? Do they come and go and radiate from a specific area?

Hi everyone.
Thanks for your prompt responses. I heard about that woman drinking too much water during a radio stunt. However, I don't drink that much all at once. My water intake varies depending on where I am at. If I'm a work, I will drink anywhere to 8-16 oz of water every hour to hour&half. If I'm at home, I drink more juice than water, but I will still put down about 12oz. of fluid every couple of hours. There have been a few days that I have exceeded the recommendations, but not excessively.
I noticed that the headache set in about thirty minutes after my first dose. Sometimes it will fade away and come back. It's not like a migraine, where it hurts in a general location. We did have a member of my family who had a brain anuerysm, and when it ruptured, she felt a sharp pain in the back of her head. It's not at all like that. It's more like general tension in my head. All over.
No, I don't really have any underlying health conditions that I know about. I have bad knees, but that doesn't play into this.
I heard about the standard "Detox Symptoms" that you guys are talking about. But I also heard that they fade away within a few days. I'm on day 13, and it's still hurting. It's probable that I may be allergic to something in the Colonix Mix. I don't know. I read the ingredients and nothing stands out that would send up a red flag for me. Besides, I'm not really allergic to anything. Except for a few medications, but those are all chemical, not herbal like Colonix.
I don't know. This sucks. I'm disappointed, because I wasn't expecting my Colonix Cleanse to go this way. Anyways, I'll stop talking about it now. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I appreciate you guys taking the time out to respond. Have a good weekend...

Sorry to hear about the headaches you're having. Before giving up on the program, I would give Dr. Natura a call and ask them if they have any other ideas. They may have a solution for you...
