Starting your Colonix treatment?

If you're starting the Colonix treatment and would like to share your daily experiences and progress with the other members of our forum, consider starting a thread and posting to it every day as you are going through the program.

You could name your thread:

"Beginning my Colonix Treatment - USERNAME - DATE"

This will provide valuable feedback to anyone who is considering the Colonix program.

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

Hi, I just started the colonix yesterday.  Nothing much to report on this, day 2, other than a slightly larger than normal bowel movement this morning.  Oh, and the Kleri tea really did give me a good night's sleep.

I have a pretty healthy diet with not much junk food, but do enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and don't want to give that up.  Do you think that will be a problem?

I've been suffering a lot lately from gas and bloating, constipation alternating with horrid soft sticky stools and a constant feeling of fullness even when I haven't eaten for hours, so I have high expectations that this program will help.  Bit scared of experiencing those strange stools that everyone seems to report, but the idea of cleaning out all that toxic build up is great.

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

Hey JL,

Welcome to the forum. smile

Personally, I gave up wine and coffee while on the program as I wanted to follow everything exactly as instructed. A glass of wine may be fine but I can't give you a definite answer on that one.

Also, would you mind starting your own thread here like Smurfette has done and updating it with your day to day progress while you're on the Colonix program? That would be awesome as it allows others to get an unbiased look at exactly what they can expect during a cleansing treatment.

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

Hi.  I'm considering the Colonix treatment and was wondering if it was safe to do if I have chronic tonsillitis, sinus and ear issues?  I can't seem to find any other holistic treatment that works, and the doctors just want to do surgery without recommending anything else.  I have a whole slew of symptoms (oily skin, hair falling out/breakage, candidiasis, fatigued all the time, vision problems- especially dry eye, depression, etc.) that have been been catastrophic to my social and professional life, and I'm at my wits end.  I'm VERY apprehensive about giving in to any sort of surgery or any more antibiotics at this point, for fear that my situation will worsen, or I'll just plum die.

Some background:  I have been terrible to my body in the past diet-wise and quite sedentary.  For the past year, I've made it a point to exercise more, walk daily and eat healthier foods like fruits and veggies (versus the processed crap I used to eat all the time- now, it's only occasionally) and I notice a huge difference in the way my body reacts when I treat my body better.  I've come a long way over the past year... essentially going it alone even after going to several doctors that have tried to give me meds I was scared to take (I know too much about pharmaceuticals to give in to a life.. or death.. of them.) and have been slowly working my way into the "alternative" and "holistic" treatment routes.  I KNOW there is an issue with my digestive system... I've confirmed that I have a leaky gut and my bowel movements are unpredictable.  Albeit, within the past few months or so, they've been quite regular (once in the morning, sometimes during the middle of the day, and generally once at night).

I'm wondering, with all these issues, if it would be safe for me to take Colonix?  Does anyone have any suggestions??

I've just started working on energy therapy (EFT) at the moment with my psychologist as well.  I'm thinking I might hold out until I've grasped the EFT and gotten some issues dealt with before I try Colonix, but in all honesty, I'm just tired of physically feeling like crap all the time... thus am eager to get started on this.

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
TooShy

I would say that you should wait until you get your EFT established.  It's much easier to focus on one thing at a time.

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

Dear TooShy,

I"m glad you've been able to make some changes with diet and lifestyle.

It sounds like you may not have much to lose to try Colonix. If you've read many of the comments in this forum you'll find the response is varied. I think you need to be prepared for an exacerbation of some symptoms. It seems to be common with detoxing that some of the very symptoms you wish to be rid of may temporarily worsen. That's why a month isn't long enough for most of us. Two to three months on the initial cleanse helps clear the body of the years of toxic build-up, if your system can tolerate it.

You don't indicate what type of surgery was recommended but you mentioned some sinus/tonsil  issues. If they are related to a chronic viral load versus an external irritant like allergies, food or environmental, you may not be as responsive.

Wish you the best and if you start the program, start a separate thread - so we can follow your journey! And hang in there! smile

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

Hi. I started the colonix a week ago. It is nice to have a feeling of cleansing and preventative medicine, but I am hoping for some more tangible results soon. I wanted to try it because I got diagnosed with IBS (I think I have had it on and off for years) and my doc prescribed drugs but had no advice on how to prevent it. I've also had chronic UTIs that the same doc had me on 6 months of low dose antibiotics, twice, and that also seems to have no way of preventing it (I've tried cranberry like crazy). The antibiotics make me crazy because they seem to give me yeast infections. Basically I am a disaster and was hoping I could do a cleanse and that it may help some basic imbalance that I have. We'll see. The first week has been hard. Switching to the full dose of the fiber seems to give me more nausea. Does anyone know if its ok to just to a half scoop? I haven't lost weight but I've totally lost my appetite. It's weird, but not bad. I was hoping for more energy but I kinda feel more tired. Has this happened to anyone? I had a little diarrhea and the helpline lady told me to lay off the senna tea for a bit and double the dose of the probiotics - which worked to stop the diarrhea but I got so bloated I went back on the senna with the lower dose of proflora.

That was alot. Anyway - I'm optomistic and hoping for the best. Anyone with similar experiences or thoughts and advice, I'd be most grateful. Thanks.

Oh - and mamabelly is because I've never lost my mamabelly after having my baby three years ago. It's time....

and Lasty, How the heck do I start a thread?

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

Hi and welcome to the forum mamabelly. smile

If you're having problems with the fiber, try cutting it back a little bit and see if that helps. Try to follow the instructions and recommendations exactly as described (no alcohol, coffee, make sure you're drinking enough water, etc.) and be patient.

To start a thread:

1. Go to the main Colonix forum area here - http://www.coloncleansingforum.com/f4-C … atura.html
2. Click "Post new topic"

That's it!

Looking forward to following your progress...

Hey Alexza, welcome to the forums. In my opinion, the most important things with the Colonix program is to stay on track (as far as the instructions go) and be patient as you're waiting for results.

Keep us posted!

Re: Starting your Colonix treatment?

I just ordered my two month treatment. I hope this isn't a scam I really do cause I don't have money to throw away. I have been feeling bloated and was just informed by my doc i have IBS. I am in hopes this will at least help with the sour tummy and constipation I have been having. I am a really active person I have to be in my line of work so I am really looking forward to this energy everyone is raving about on here, but I will see what it does for me and if no one else is honest on here I will be i should be receiving my treatments next week so i will be posting next weekend. Until then have a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.
