For the opposite problem

I used Colonix for a couple of months a year or so ago, trying to clear an intestinal infection that would respond to cipro for about a week after I took a 10-day course, and then return as diarrhea. I eventually became allergic to the colonix (as I do to anything that I ingest on a regular basis) and stopped taking it, but using GOL's Ultra Defense kept me functioning very well. I found the tea to be way too stimulating for my sensitive digestive tract, and only tried it once. I never in the time I took the Colonix got anything "untoward" in a BM. All looked as normal, and I have never had a problem with constipation in my 60 years of life.

Well, unfortunately, a few weeks ago an alternative practitioner told me my body didn't "like" the Ultra Defense and told me to stop taking it. The prior problem has returned and now does not respond to cipro at all; all I get out is stinky water. I went back on the Ultra Defense, but nothing comes out but the stinky water unless I am also taking about 1 teaspoon of the Colonix twice a day, and then it appears reasonably normal. I test negative for parasites, and the problem seems to originate in my stomach, because sometimes as soon as a few minutes after I eat or drink something, I get a cup or two of mostly water out the other end.

I have vacation coming up in less than two weeks, that involves air travel, and you can imagine how that would go if I can't get things quieted down in short order.

Not sure why I'm writing this, except that I'm at a loss and so is my doctor (NMD.) The most anyone has offered is invasive tests, when the stool report is negative. Since the problem started up again when I went off the Ultra Defense, it seems my best bet is to just use my own methods to get things quieted down again.
