25 y/o 180 lb female. Started this program out of curiousity and hoping it would encourage me to be more active to lose some weight.
Bought 2 months worth of Paranil, Colonix, and crazy senna tea.
A little less than a month in I got lazy b/c I moved last weekend and haven't taken anything in 5 days (not even the fiber).
The first week was fun/interesting, just telling stories about my colon cleanse and grossing people out w/stories of the little white things that look suspiciously like worms.
I thought everything tasted good. I took the fiber with OJ, and always drank the recommended amount of water, which is about 4 regular sized bottles of spring water. Very easy to keep up.
The tea only gave me minor cramping the first time. No worse than menstrual cramps. Seeing as I was already regular I did not drink the tea every night.
Nothing super special besides the wormy looking things happened, I mean the BM's did look strange sometimes but none of that awful mucoid plaque. Personally it does make a lot of sense to me that that product creates that stuff.
Now that I'm settled in from moving I am going to start treatment again. But I thought it was important to let people know that while I followed the directions to the T and was not disappointed (but not totally impressed either), and moreover felt no unpleasant side effects while taking the product, since the last time I took the product properly last Friday (it is now Wednesday) I have had the runs like you wouldn't believe. Maybe my system got used to the fiber but it has been awful and painfully burning to tell you the truth. I have not had anything to eat out of the ordinary that might cause that to happen to me, like hot peppers or taco bell or anything like that.

I don't think your reaction would be typical while being off the product. I would be more inclined to think it was a reaction to something you ate or drank or a viral load. (There's been a number of people with diarrhea complaints with recent viruses going around.)
It is normally recommended that you take a little break between months and most would not have that trouble. If anything, many feel they tend to worry about constipation because of not having the fiber.
At any rate, hopefully your system will get back on track. Keep us posted and thanks for sharing your experience with the product! ![]()
