Never Tried Cleansing Before

In the past 3 months I've had mono, stomach bug, and the flu. I've battled yeast for several months now. I don't sleep well at night and have been taking a sleep aid almost every night for the last 5 years. 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr, Chronic Fatigue, and Fibromyalgia. I'm a 45 year old female and I consider myself pretty active and healthy, despite all the above. After much research, I decided to try the Toxinout and Colonix. I will try to give an honest account of my cleansing.

I began Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. I ate Cream of Wheat for breakfast, Taco Soup for lunch, and vegetables (corn, peas, cabbage, potatoes) for supper. Did everything by the book. I had a headache that resembles one that might be associated with sugar withdrawal. I'm trying to eat good, drink the water, and omit the sleep aids. I did not sleep well at all.

Sunday, Feb. 24th- I ate oatmeal for breakfast, vegetable soup for lunch, cereal for supper. I snacked on peanuts and raisins throughout the day. After the morning regimen I had 3 major loose b.m.'s. The water seemed to keep me busy going to the bathroom. I had another headache, but nothing too sever. Had several small b.m.'s throughout the day. I still did not sleep well and I steeped the tea longer, about 8 minutes. Maybe I had become too dependent on the sleep aids.

Monday, Feb. 25th- I had oatmeal, vegetable soup, and a tuna sandwich for my meals. Snacked on trail mix. Drank water have taken everything except the Flora protect and the tea. I'll do that later on tonight. This morning I had 3 or 4 large, loose b.m.'s before going to work. Nothing really strange looking yet. I've had another headache today. Not quite as bad. Before I ate my lunch I was very hungry. My stomach was hurting. After eating lunch I've felt very very bloated today. When I weighed this afternoon, it was same as my morning weight. I have lost about 4 pounds  since I started.

I tend to drink most of my water early on. I drink 1/2 liter first thing in the morning. By 1:00p.m. I've drank another liter. Then I finish my water later in the evening.

The worse thing about all this now is the headaches, the bloating, and not sleeping well. I hope all these things subside soon. I plan to try to stick this out for the whole month.

Re: Never Tried Cleansing Before

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with others. It may especially benefit those who face similar health issues. You mentioned some of the earlier chronic health issues. Were you able to work through that time? Do they give you trouble now?

Regarding your current detoxing reactions- I had bloating for a couple of weeks, some headaches and both my husband and I had some trouble getting to sleep although I would wake up feeling rested even though I had a late night and less hours of sleep. Some days were flu-like but also noticed less craving for coffee and sugar, some days not hardly hungry. We followed the program for three months and I'm going to be starting a month maintenance shortly. So I'll see if I have a recurrence of those detox symptoms.

Headaches have been a common general complaint I've heard this winter especially in people prone to them so I don't know if being sick this winter is contributing factor for you.

Wish you success! smile

Re: Never Tried Cleansing Before

Off and on I have occasional fatigue, especially if I get run-down. I've had a lot of stress in my life. Lost a spouse unexpectedly in 2002. I also have the fibromyalgia symptoms from time to time. All my life it seems I've required 8-10 hours of sleep or I don't feel well. I've always craved sugar, so I'm hoping this detox will help with all of this.

Last night my headache was approaching the severe level so I took 2 Tylenol P.M. I feel rested now since I was able to get a good nights sleep. I hope the meds don't set me back with the detox. program.

Re: Never Tried Cleansing Before

Day 4:  This morning after the paranil and intestinal cleanser and drinking 18 oz. water, I ate 2 slices of wheat toast. I didn't have the urgency to go to the bathroom as the previous morning. I did have one b.m. that was of a different consistency. It was not as loose or mushy as previous days. I feel there may be more to come before I leave for work.
