Began my Colonix Treatment - rm10190 - 022308

Hello all - I was looking for a forum to share details with, so I hope this will be a good experience.  I am currently on Day 3.

Other than some mild cramping in the morning, and diarreah once or twice in the morning and late morning, that's it for me.  I'm drinking nearly 1 gallon of spring water a day.  No real side affects (yet)

I've heard of head-aches, acne, fatigue etc... but we'll see.  I will keep you posted.

btw - I'm a 36 yo male in great physical shape. Preparing routine training for a major glacier climb in August.  Trying to train this time from the inside out... more weight off of me, means my gear will feel lighter on the legs... VERY important.

I look forward to reading all your comments.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you're in great shape. Will be curious to see what effect the program will have.

The cramping can easily occur if the tea is steeped too long and what "too long" is will vary. Two minutes is more than sufficient for me but some steep much longer.

Wish you well! smile

Day 4

Nothing new to report. Taking the 2 paranil's in the AM then the fiber 15 minutes later.  Spring Water (easy 5 liters of water daily - normal for me), and the KleriTea every other day.

Diet - whole grains, egg whites, lots of raw fruit & vegetables, baked chicken, and fresh (raw) peanuts I dry roast for snacks), NO SUGARY foods, no salt, no caffeine, and no nicotine.

Here is my progress:
- slight headache noticeable for the past 3 days
- increased gas but manageable
- increase in facial acne

Mornings consist of one 'loose' small BM, and a small one later in the morning. (Nothing spectacular) from what I've read on forums.

That's it....... nothing really to say. Just being objective and posting findings.

DAY 14

Haven't written in a while -- partly because I have nothing to post.  I am not having the results that most folks seem to post. I am following the program religiously along with a strict diet regimen.  I also run 2-3 miles every other day, and ride a stationary bike on off days along with endurance weight training 5 days a week.

No unusual items to report. 1-2 bm's a day (only in the morning due to the KleriTea working overnight as a laxative) -- but I didn't need that before.  I am very regular normally anyway.

So... 14 days have passed, and I'm wondering if I should continue...

PS - I am also doing the Toxinout program as well.  Again, no side effects (positive or negative).  Is it just me, or is this odd?

Thanks...

I have the impression you have been keeping a fairly healthy diet prior to Colonix and being physically active you may not see the results that many others who are inactive, overweight and eating garbage are likely to see.

Depending on your size, you may find that you can increase the amount of fiber you're taking. My husband (6'6", 300lbs) has taken two scoops, one in morning and one in the evening.

Have your early reactions - headache, gas and acne subsided?

Re: Began my Colonix Treatment - rm10190 - 022308

Laura -

Yes, all previously encountered reactions (first 7-10 days subsided.  To add to the lack of results, after 14 days I weighed myself -in the same manner I always do weigh-ins:  [first thing in the morning, after any/all bm's, nightly fast, no food, no clothes]

I lost a total of 1.5 lbs in 2 weeks.

To be honest, I could lose 2 lbs in 1 day with intense training.  -done it before back in my high-school/college days for wrestling.

So, scientifically interpreting these results, which have been heavily 'surgically’, controlled and followed, I can deduce only 2 things:

1.) Alter plan to induce favorable results; which navigates away from the 'generic' plan
2.) Abandon the experiment and learn from its results.

I'm at a cross-road.  I am not 300 lbs like your husband is/was, and I am much more physically fit than your average 37 year old because I run a "High Adventure" expeditions service. That being said, however, I LOVE to eat.  I work-out SO I can eat.  Also, I have been known (in certain survival situations on remote treks) to consume water or "edible" items that may be not for everyone's liking -if you know what I mean...) -- (i.e. drinking bad water gives you giardia or cryptosporidium)

I assumed that the Colonix/Paranil would have some effect on that, but then again, perhaps my physiology has been resistant somehow to those types of invaders, but I don't see how that is possible.  Either way, I digress; my choices are clearly 1 or 2. -not sure which approach I will take.
I may be an anomaly.

Thx
