
Started to day on January 16th. Need to mix the fiber with something it was gross, but I can hack it. Never steeped tea before so we will see how it goes. Did anyone get any bad gas the first day. Took 2 BM's today. Usually go a few days with none and then 2 or 3.

Day 2 and I woke up and didnt have to go at all. I know its the first day, but isnt the tea suppose to make you go??? anyway more later

I've mixed the fiber with orange juice to mask the flavor and texture.
Since you've indicated your colon isn't regular it may take a little time to get it to respond on a regular schedule. You probably have some pit stops in your gut that are impeding the progress but it should eventually rotor rooter through. Hang in there!

Use a wisk to mix in your fiber. I find that gets rid of clumps/lumps. Drink fast...

Well day 3, and I will say last night I had a huge blowout which was very watery (diahrea) and two normal BMs. This morning I drank my fiber with OJ in a shaker and it tasted fine, which makes me happy since i gagged like crazy when mixed with water. I got to work and another huge blowout. Nothing like the pics on the pages, but is this normal???? I steeped for 2 minutes and i kind of like the tea taste.

Day 4 just began and I feel great. I have been exercising regularly and watching what i eat and am donw to 195 (started Jan 1 at 205) NO big BMs in the mroning like it says should i Steep longer?? anyway usually during the day i will have a big blowout. Rumbling stomach right now heads up here it comes...

Day 5 NO BM for almost 30 hours then finally a little one. Disappointed.

Day 6. Second day of 4 Pills in the morning. no BM in almost 12 hours then this morning a monster of a deuce. I swear this thing was about 15 inches long with a curcumference of about 3.5 inches, amazing. It took 3 flushes to go down. Is this the beginning of the Colonix working? Sorry if i grossed anybody out but this fourm is about poop

day 7. last night had a decent blowout but nothing big. im very bloated lately is this common. I like to go to this local bar sometimes when i get afree hour to hang with a few of my buddies. why i am saying this is I can go without a BM for a few days, and as soon as I get there.....wammmmmoooooooooo i dropped a BM that looked like my forearm..amazing.

Bloating was my experience the first couple of weeks on the initial cleanse. Not a feeling I was used to but my body finally balanced and it went away. I think, for me, it was getting use to the additional psyllium fiber in my diet.

Day 8 Well I had a few BMs today nothing big. I think most of it was becasue I drank some beer last night and beer has a tendancy to make you go. Hopefully this picks up some as I want to see some cool stuff

Day 9 and 10 Nothing is really happening and I am beginning to think this is a scam. Had just one BM each of the last 2 days other than that nothing. Steeping for about 10 mins right now and not once did i ever wake up and had the urge to go. Should I do something different??

Hey I'm at day 7 now and kinda going through the same thing as you. I'm bloated and nothing exciting has been happening on the pooping front. Will start my own entries about it so we can follow our progress. Cheers.

When this happened to me, I dropped down from one full scoop to 1/2 scoop and it made all the difference. Cut back on the fiber and see if this helps bettypoop and Nukdog.

why would goign to a half scoop help?? wouldnt more fiber make me go more???

Below is a quote from Goldstar, a member who responded to someone elso having the same problem. I've not dealt with the problem but thought I 'd pass this along as a possible option.
"First do not increase the fiber if you are having a challenge going to the bathroom. You need to decrease the fiber to 1/2 scoop take one tea bag and steep to make 2 cups of tea for about 10 minutes. Drink one cup after breakfast and one just before you are going to bed. Do this until you start going again. When you become regular you need to go back to drinking the tea just before you go to sleep. This is what I've had to do when I first started on colonix some years back. "

I think because your body is not used to the extra fiber. Excerpt from a google search:
"But be careful that you don't add too much fiber too fast, or you'll feel even more bloated than before. Your body needs time to get used to processing the increased bulk."

Also, make sure you are drinking plenty of water, as the psyllium can totally be constipating when you're not getting enough water. I found I was really good about water for the first few days, and then had to keep track to make sure I was getting enough, especially after bumping up to a full scoop.
Regarding your question about having an urge to go, rarely do I wake up with the urge (unless I steeped the tea too long, and then it's a mad dash for the bathroom!). Usually, I don't get the urge to go until I've had some fluids or something to eat. But I can tell the tea does work, because on days after I skip the tea, I don't go till much later.
Hopefully, it'll pass. From reading other people's logs, it seems like a lot of people experience some bloating and/or constipation at some point during the cleanse until their body adjusts, and then they're fine.

so then i steep at night and save the tea bag for morning?? will it last sitting out?? or just make two cups at night and put on in the fridge or something and warm it up? thanks

I'd make two cups at night and put it the extra in the fridge just to keep it fresh, then you can choose whether to drink it hot or cold. I usually want something warm in the morning but I don't think it would matter for effectiveness.

Problem with the idea of "saving" a cup of tea is that we're not supposed to microwave the tea..apparently reduces the efficieny of the senna....also....there's some serious precaustions to take wiht this tea. Senna is usually not recommended for more than 7-10 days at a time. We're already exceeding that recommendation by drinking it for 30 days straight.

I had this concern too. I wonder if alternating days or skipping a couple days a week would help.

Yes, of course, the old reheat method would certainly work. I've read that drinking any senna tea after it has cooled may reduce the cramping effect. I was very sensitive to that. I'm about to start a maintenance regimen again so I'll see if that still holds true. One to two minutes is sufficient steeping for me. Longer and stronger would cause me to wake with cramps in the night.
I can't speak for others but following the three-month program did not cause a problem of dependency on the products and no ill effects (other than some short-term detox effects while using it - headache, flu-like symptoms, bloating, etc.) for myself or my husband. It's been a year and a half. However, I will say constipation was not an issue for me, I did it for the general cleansing benefits. My husband's colon trouble alternated between constipation and diarrhea and a fullness in part of his colon. He continues to use the fiber and occasionally the tea.
Below is info from the Colonix instructions regarding the tea:

Before going to bed, steep a bag of KleriTea in a cup of hot water for 2-6 minutes. (Never use water heated in a microwave oven because this can destroy the effectiveness of the herbs in the tea.) ok so for the last two days days 14 and 15 I made two cups of tea and am only takinghalf a scoop on fiber in the mornings and drinking penty of water. nothing yet, jsut a usual one poop with no cool stuff in it at all. oh well
