I think colon cleansing is a great thing for the human body. Maintaining your colon health really is the key to an overall healthy life.
BUT, I don't understand why people pay so much for something you can get sooo much cheaper at other places. Colonix consists of ALOT of psyllium, which can be obtained at most health stores for the fraction of the price. Significantly cheaper. That's what is creating those *2foot worms* people pass. It's the psyllium.
I tried the Colonix colon cleansing program. I did a 6 week cleanse with it, butI wasn't very impressed. I didn't see the spectacular results everyone claims they get. I felt like I was acheiving the same effect by using Metamucil or mixing my own P&B shakes. And I wasn't spending five times as much.
People don't use common sense sometimes.

Yes, we have the cheaper fiber as well. While psyllium is the primary ingredient, for us, the benefits of flax seed and the additional herbs in the Colonix and their use of stevia as a sweetener versus sucrose were additional bonuses that make it a preference.

You say 'WE' like you work there. Do you work there?
I can understand the added benefits of flax seed and additional herbs, but can't these extra ingredients be obtained for far cheaper? and still achieve the desired cleansing effect?

'WE' refers to my husband and myself. He has dealt with chronic health issues and we have found that cheaper isn't always better. Not that something more expensive necessarily makes it a superior product but some products we buy aren't the cheapest we can get but are processed in a way that makes them more usable by the body and that refining process costs more money.
And, for the record, I am a licensed massage therapist in Nebraska. I do not, nor have I ever worked for the Colonix company nor do I sell their product. However, I have recommended it to a number of my clients and friends. Sorry to disappoint...
