As the subject mentions, I'm tossing around the idea of ordering this in a day or two and was actually hoping to read more unbiased reviews of the product here. I have had signs of possible parasitic infestations in the past, so I'm really hoping that this might help that issue moreso than anything else, really. That, and I've been thinking of going to a specialist here in town (I'm in Nashville) to have it done professionally, and this is simply an alternative that I've been considering. Has anyone used this and seen any of the type of stuff claimed by the folks on the Colonix site? I would be very interested in hearing about it, if so, as you can never really trust that kind of thing coming from the manufacturers of the product itself (no brainer).
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing some replies here. If not (this board doesn't seem very active at all), I might very well try a 2-month supply anyway, just to satisfy my curiosity. One hundred and forty bucks isn't anything to sneeze at, but if it will help to about any degree, it would be well worth it.

Hi James,
This forum is actually brand new, which is the reason why it isn't very active yet.
I actually documented my Colonix experience, you can read about it on my blog...
http://www.ColonCleansingBlog.com
While I did see some pretty strange things during my treatment, I didn't experience some of the things they mention on their website such as increases in energy, dropping a belt size, etc.

I am in my second month of the treatment, and while I haven't seen the creatures described and so vividly shown (!) at the Colonix website, I have noticed many other good things for me. For instance, I have had an increase in energy, or should I say a dramatic drop in the need to nap on weekend afternoons. The dark circles under my eyes have disappeared. (Family and friends noticed this before I did.) My husband noticed very early in the first month of taking Colonix that I slept through the night and have continued to do so; I never slept through the night unless I was very ill.(I can wake up when a car door shuts across the street in the middle of the night!) So this was just amazing. I am more regular now than I can ever remember, though, again nothing scary has left me....yet...?
Also, in the past, I have clinched my teeth so horrendously that I have a fracture in each of my canine teeth. Now, I am experincing less pain in my jaw each morning and I don't have to pry my mouth open. So, I am now clinching less, if at all at night.
In addition, I used to have a twitching left eye. That has since stopped for the most part, too.
However, not necessarily bad, but, just however, it appears that my body is already detoxing without me even taking the detox part of Colonix's product. I have skin break outs under my arm, for instance. The look like pimples, but the aren't and they don't hurt. But I have a lot of them. I have breakouts in other glandular areas, as well. So, it appears that "bad" things are leaving my body already. Someone might say that I may be allergic to Colonix. However, it is quite contained where the breakouts are occuring.
So, in short (?), I say it is worth trying Colonix. You will probably be pleasantly surprised. I would also recommmend just eating and drinking healthier while using Colonix to get the full effect. I didn't in the beginning and now I am seeing more results just from changing my eating habits in the last few weeks or so.
Hope this helps.

My husband and I as well as some other family members knew they were eliminating dead parasites on the Colonix. Seemed mostly to be pinworms and/or threadworms and dead, of course, and likely other stages of parasites that you can't see.
James, you mentioned having something done professionally...are you referring to medicine or something else?

Thanks, all, for your contributions/replies here. Any of this helps. Since I left this message, I ended up going with "Humaworm" for the time being. It was only 20-something bucks and is supposed to have the same effect as the paranil in the Colonix package. Since parasites were my main concern, I figured this would be a much cheaper alternative to try. If these do nothing (I'm on the end of my 2nd week), I can always tack it up as a loss and try the Colonix program w/out feeling like I was too gypped.
Laura:
Professional-wise, I was referring to seeing a colon cleansing specialist and having such performed in an office/sterile environment w/ whatever equipment and just submitting that to my insurance company. The more I think about it, I figure I'll be saving this option as a "last ditch effort."

James,
You could submit your experience with Humaworm and add it to the forum so others can know what your experience was with the product.
I mentioned in another area of this forum a program that runs periodically on Animal Planet. It's called "Eaten Alive" and it's about parasites. You may find it of interest.
Wishing you wellness...

Sorry about the delay, but I remembered that I hadn't followed up here and thought I'd drop in with the results of the Humaworm trial. The results are:
Nada. I didn't experience any difference while taking the Humaworm, aside from looser stools here and there, and all was normal after and since the last dose. I deem it a waste of time for me. However, maybe I simply don't have any parasites? Who knows? All I know is that I took the product, noticed nothing, finished the product, and still noticed nothing.
For now, I have an occasional mild rectal itch pop up randomly every few days or so, and at random times in the day. Dunno if this is normal or indicitive of something being wrong, but one thing's for sure: Humaworm did nothing for it either way.
I probably won't try the Colonix system, as this has been my second trial of this type of thing with zero results. I see no reason to try a 3rd.
Thanks again, all, for your advice and responses, especially Laura. Interesting note on the Animal Planet special. I might keep an eye out for it.

I placed my order yesterday of colonix, it hasn't even shipped yet. You can see my post i made yesterday, I intend to keep a diary on this site, maybe we can compare expieriences?

Thanks for the update on Humaworm. The rectal itch may likely be a reaction to the something in the product.
Otherwise, rectal itching is a classic sign of pinworms. The female comes out at night to lay her eggs outside the rectum. It can be a common problem for children although adults aren't exempt. When you treat it medically they advise disinfecting bedding and treating the whole family because of easy transmission.
If a person has them they will mature enough to actually see them live and moving in the feces. If itching is occurring at night a flashlight and a Q-tip to check the rectum will confirm if there is a problem. (Don't ask me how I know this!)
Anyway, since you've been through two regimens, I would think you're relatively safe. Just thought I would pass on info regarding possible problems related to rectal itching.

Hey James,
I have tried various cleansing programs prior to finding "colonix". I have to say that the less expensive versions and the "so called" faster results are really the ones that are taking advantage us. When I finally relented and tried the "colonix" program I was a total skeptic until I saw and felt results within the first month. First thing I noticed was that I could sleep better and my skin cleared up within 2 weeks. I lost 10 lbs of build up in the colon and I my energy improved.
By the 3rd week I decided to continue with another month and between the 3 - 5 week I was eliminating parasites. I even had them tested as I wasn't convinced that they were parasites. But the lab confirmed it. I have been using "colonix" for about 8 years. It has helped me get back my health and I am thankful each and every day. Colonix is a little expensive however my health is worth it.

Hey Everyone,
I'm also looking at the Colonix program to check out. I was actually inspired by Robin Quivers on the Howard Stern Show because she is following a "detox" program. I decided to read up a bit and it seems as if Colonix is pretty good, but I do have some concerns and I'm hoping someone might be able to respond.
First let me start by saying, I normally do have good BMs, so I'm not going to completely say that's a problem for me. My problem is that I am coming close to weighing 300 pounds after a MASSIVE weight gain over the years after being on the pill and eating like CRAP! I feel tired, I feel bloated and just want to use something to help cleanse my "insides" while I focus on a better diet and more exercise. I want to feel energized again---and hopefully drop a little weight from all of the waste leaving my system! I must admit, I've also been totally freaked out after reading the worm stuff!
OK, so here are my questions for those who have/are using the product:
1) Do you find that you have to use the bathroom frequently during the day (I work in a place that has limited bathroom privacy and I hate going number 2 while on the job)?
2) In the research you have done prior to purchasing the product, did you read anything about the potential for this to flush out the "good" bacteria from your system and what this could do to your digestive tract?
3) What side effects have you experienced?
4) What positives have you experienced?
5) How do you feel about the cost of this product?
6) On a 1-10 scale (1 being horribly ineffective, 10 being marvelous) how would you rate your outcome with this product?
Any help would be appreciated! Before I look at spending $80-150 I want to make sure it's worth it!

I just ordered this and expect it to arrive today. I'm skeptical, but they have a 100% money back guarantee. I figured I'd try a month- it's about what it would cost for a co-pay if I visit a doctor and have a follow up.

Hi, I have been using "colonix" for about 8 years now and it is definately a great product.
1) You will find you need to have an elimination first thing in the morning and possibly another in the afternoon. You still have control so I am sure you will be at home.
2) I always make sure that I am taking vitamins so that is not a concern. Just incorporate your vitamins and should you have any questions call the help desk they are great.
3) Side effects hmmm I did eliminate parasites, I lost weight 10 lbs, I did have a day that I felt really sick and wanted to quite but was told to continue and I am really glad I did. It turned out my body was reacting to the releasing of parasites. I ended up eliminating about a foot long parasite. I even had it tested because I was skeptical that it was one.
4) My health is really important to me - If I didn't find this product and use it - I know today I would have had cancer and possibly worse. I already had the signs and the tests were shown to be positive 8 years ago. So for me "colonix" saved my life.
5) Rating + 10
My family and friends have all done the program and it is a part of my life. I do the cleansing and toxinout at least once sometimes twice a year.
Let us know how you are on the cleanse. Remember if you have any questions the help desk is really great and informed. Good luck.
