Skin breakouts???

I am using  Colonix and am in my second month. My first month was eventful, I guess, in that I did eliminate a lot. But, nothing like others seem to report.

Right now I am most concerned about little pimple-like break outs in glandular areas, such as under my arm. They easily rupture upon touch, and aren't really painful before or after they are rupture. Sometimes they have a burning sensation like any small open wound does, but it is short lived.  They go away very quickly, in a day or two for the most part. I treated the one with Neosporin. It healed within days.

Am I the odd-ball (wouldn't be surprised), or has anyone else exprienced such a strange thing while using this product? I am trying decide if this is related to my use with Colonix (I am not using the the detox product at this time, by the way), or am I just experiencing something else unrelated to Colonix?

I thought I had read somewhere that this has happened to others.

Just curious.

Added info:

While I am in my second month, I have to say I am slightly disappointed in that I am not eliminating like I did during the first month, and I am very bloated on a regular basis, very gassy. I have to wear my largest size pants and they are tight. So, I am not as enthused as I was a month ago. Though, I will admit, I am not as lethargic on weekend days in the afternoon when I would normally be tempted to take a nap. For winter months approaching, a typical hibernating-like time, I am quite intrigued by the lack of desire to nap. Being a full-time working mother of 2 who works outside of the home as a teacher, it is nice to not feel compelled to sleep on my days off!

Also, the black circles under my eyes have disappeared. I have had family members notice a difference in my appearance. That was inspiring.

Anyway, there are good things happening, just wish I was eliminating more, AND, I want to know if I should be concerned about these skin breakouts????

Re: Skin breakouts???

It would appear you are detoxing through the skin. Always a curious thing where it shows up. I was trying to guess why you might break out in those particular area, the groin and armpits are main lymphatic drainage areas, I don't know if that's a factor or not. Unless you think you're having an allergic reaction to some of the herbs, it sounds like you would benefit to continue with the program.

My husband started another month of the cleanse after a following a three-month regiment  this summer. He has had a rash reoccur on one leg almost to where it looks like a welt and sometimes with it comes terrible itchiness. The herbs seem to pull it to the surface. We have continued on the fiber product since the summer so it is something in the paranil and/or tea causing the reaction as we also have only done the Colonix program.  It varies in intensity. He recently applied a liquid echinacea/goldenseal extract on it and it reduced the welt look and intense color of the rash. We're not sure if it's related to the Lyme-related bacteria found recently in his blood work but he's had rashes for years. Some areas have almost cleared on the cleanse but other areas continue to flare so we know something is still in his system.

Regarding energy, I also noticed an improvement with that and I avoided getting sick this summer. If the gas and bloating are new symptoms in your second month, you may need to use some enzymes and probiotics like acidophilus to aid your digestive tract if you're not already doing so.
Hope this helps

Re: Skin breakouts???

Laura

Thanks for your response. I have noticed a swelling of sorts under my right arm pit. In fact when I rest my arms at my side I notice that my right arm does not hang down like the left arm. So, I will be going to my doctor. I don't feel a lump or anything. I do have senstive "pore", almost like an ingrown hair spot, but there is no ingrown hair!  Your idea about the lymphatic glands did cross my mind, too.  Just didn't know if I should be overtly concerned.

Just today I had three more "pimples" in the groin area. The skin peels off effortlessly and it really doesn't hurt, nor does it really bleed. So strange.  When it all clears up, the next day I have more! It has been like this for over a month, since the very beginning when I began the program.

Thanks for the info.

Oh, I reread the Colonix directions just to see if there is anything I missed. I read that I wasn't supposed to microwave my water for my tea, and I have been. What do you think that has done to (or hasn't done for)  me?

As for the bloati-ness. I probably need to drink more water but I can honestly say I almost gag when I drink water, and I like water!

Anyway, thanks again for listening.

Re: Skin breakouts???

Laura (and others),

Well, I didn't go to the doctor about the pain under my arm. The pain went away after a skin breakout occurred from the exact skin pore that was hurting so much. Another skin breakout occurred right next to it.  Right now I have a TON of breakouts under one arm, but none under the other.

I have two other glandular areas that I am dealing with, as well. One is new.

Re: Skin breakouts???

tlr,

Just wondered how you are faring with your symptoms, if they have abated or new ones have developed. And in general how you are feeling...

I did break out even more before I got better when I was taking the colonix program for the first time. If I have a lot of toxins to eliminate my face will also break out each time I do the cleanse. It is quite normal.
