
I am a 32 year old mother of a 5 yr old and a 5 month old. I am 5'5 and 144.8lbs as of today. Before children I was a constant 118lbs for years and worked out at least 4 days a week and lived a healthy lifestyle. After my first child I lost most of the baby weight quickly and got back into shape but never weighed 118lbs again. I stayed at 125lbs for a year and then after her 1st birthday I slowly stopped the excercising, started eating less healthy once in a while and by the end of the year I was 130lbs. Year 2, same lifestyle now 135lbs, year 3 140lbs, year 4 145lbs. Then I did a 3 month cleanse with Dr. Natura's Colonix and got back into excercising and dropped to 132 lbs in 3 months. I felt great and was on a roll to lose another 10lbs over the next 3 months but then very happily got pregnant with our 2nd child. Weigh in at delivery was 163lbs and within the first month I was back down to 137lbs. THEN.......I slowly started reverting back to bad habits (pop, fast food, snacking) and never got on the excercise band wagon and now I am back up to 144.8lbs. I AM DONE!!! I WANT MY OLD BODY BACK!! With that body came confidence, self assurance, great energy, great sex with my husband, LOVE OF LIFE! I walk by a mirror and I don't even recognize myself. I look through old pitures from ONLY 5 YRS AGO and think how did I let this happen, I AM 32!! I should have that old body for a good 20 yrs left!! I DO NOT expect to ever weigh 118lbs again!! I am being realistic. I want to weigh 125lbs and I want to do it within 6 months. That should be acheivable! I am starting a food diary today and have started my ONE MONTH COLONIX cleanse today to get me going. I plan on sharing my story b/c many of these other stories are inspiring me. I am not obese, if you didn't know me 5 yrs ago you wouldn't even think I was over weight now, but my body is 100% different. I have 20 lbs to lose, that sounds easy but it is incredibly hard. I have 26 weeks, if I can manage 1lb a week, with a few weeks left over for no weight loss, I should be able to pull it off. I figure posting my story gives me accountability. I have to answer to others even if to strangers. I have never been more determined in my life and I know I can succeed. I plan on working out 5 days a week, monitoring calorie burning. I want to burn 500 calories per workout, and eat no more than 1200 calories per day for the 1 st 4 weeks. I'll see what results I get from this and make changes if I have to in 4 weeks. I am eating Lean cuisine meals for lunches (210 to 280 calories) and for dinner I will need to be very creative but am very excited. For breakfast today I had a hard boiled egg with half a grapefruit. WISH ME SUCCESS!!! And Success wishes go out to all of you!

Diets don't work because they aren't permanent, as you know. Its wonderful to hear that someone is benefiting from the cleansing and with a positive side effect of weight loss even! My husband and I had such high hopes for Colonix but it didn't work for us and we haven't found another product yet.
Some simple math should also help. You should be able to get to 130lbs within 6 months, but after that you exceed your 10% weight loss. After that 10% your body starts relaxing into the routine of whatever is working so you'll have to switch things up as far as exercise goes.
Also, get a balance of cardio with some toning (light weights). Good luck!
