My husband did take the Colonix to his doctor. His main comment was that these products often give people diarrhea. I think that is often true of the short-term cleanses although the tea does cause my system to produce loose stools sometimes.
A friend with MS asked her specialists about using it. They basically pooh-poohed it and said it probably wouldn't help her but it wouldn't hurt her. She felt great being on it just a month.

Laura,
Thanks for the information. I am not sure how my doctor would react to me trying this. I have known him a while and he seems to think that I am a pretty healthy guy for my age (38). I don't smoke (never did) I am a casual beer drinker and I have no family history of Colon or Liver issues, so he probably would tell me I don't need it. With that said, I have decided to give it a try for a month and see how things go (no pun intended). I have been doing the 7 days full body treatment from GNC and I feel better, but I don not see ANY of the results described on the Colonix page.
To the Admin, thanks for hosting this site. I am sure it will be a valuable tool for those of us who want to express our opinions, concens and comments. I appreciate the support.

Well, I asked my doctor, and faxed him the ingredients list from Dr. Natura's website. He called me back a few days later saying that there are over 100 ingredients. He told me they don't teach that in medical school and the FDA hasn't reviewed the ingredients either, so he has no idea.

When I first started the colonix I didn't even mention it to my doctor because I knew she would tell me not to take it. After I finished the colonix program I went back to my doctor for a physical and she asked me what I was doing. I then told her that I did a cleansing program "colonix" and then gave her all the information about it. She was surprised how effectively it had worked for me and is now recommending it to other clients. I am healthy and feeling great!
