Beginning my Colonix Treatment - Melissa - 9/27/08

Hi all..

I'm (about to be) on day 6 of the colonix + detox programs and thought I'd start a thread.

I'm 28, female, work way too many hours (and don't exercise nearly enough at the moment) and I have been doing some form of quick cleanse once a year for the past few... mostly because colon cancer runs in my family and I can always use any leg up on the health ladder. This time around, I researched out what sounded like the best cleanse program (not just a "quick" cleanse) and shelled out the big bucks. This was motivated by some health issues I had over the past year (back injury led to being prescribed a bad mix of meds which led to constipation to the extreme of ending up in the ER with an almost-bursting bowel which has led to some overall inconsistency in the BM dept ever since)... I would like to clear out the pipes, so to speak, and wouldn't mind losing a few pounds as well.

So far, I'm skeptical. I feel bloated, flu-like, tired, etc... No real improvement on BM's.  They are smellier than normal, but that's about it. I haven't had much of an appetite, so the reduced diet might be partly to blame. I gave up caffeine, carbonated drinks and red meat (and am hoping to stick to it) for the duration of the programs. The worst thing for me is taking the fiber in the morning... I am not a fan of textured liquids (I can't even stand pulp in juice!) so it does literally make me gag most mornings. I can't stand to take it with water, so my current mixer of choice is orange juice. I also don't really like the tea.. and haven't seen much change due to taking it... but I continue to take all required steps every day.

I am hoping once I step up my dosage in the morning, that will help kickstart some results. I really don't like the bloated feeling or the inconsistent BM's.

I'll come back and post in a few days and/or when I see some changes.

Thanks for reading!

I am on Day 11 of the Colonix program, I have a bad diet and don't exercise much either. I have lost 4lbs - I weighed 127 to start and 123 now. I am 25 y/o Female. I get cramps from the tea and headaches...tired...hopefully that will go away soon.

Wow, your experiences are a lot like mine except for the losing weight part. I do try to balance my diet and also exercise though.

Yeah, I am pretty lazy. Ha! I cut down on drinking the entire cup of tea and the cramps aren't as bad nor are they waking me up in the middle of the night.
