my colonix treatment

Hi everyone,

I am now on Day 6 on my Colonix program.  Haven't posted any news because really there has not been much to report.  I am now on 4 paranil tablets and 1 scoop of the fiber and taking it religiously.  Also the Kleri tea at night.

Apart from a regular bowel movement every day - I have not really noticed a huge improvement or felt any better.  On the contrary, my stomach seems to have bloated out quite a bit and I have had some stomach cramps. I don't think I'll lose any weight because I am not overweight to start with but I did think my stomach might start to flatten. The stools have been a bit mucosy, and yesterday although not a great amount was passed, it was decidedly ropy, a bit like those horror pictures some have reported!  However, I don't know if that isn't just the fiber gel doing that.  I'm beginning to get skeptical as you can see.

The first night the Kleri tea gave me a wonderful night's sleep. However, I have not been sleeping at all well since then.

Well, I shall keep on anyway!  Looking through most people's reports, not much happens anyway inthe first week so maybe I'm just being impatient!  We'll see......

Re: my colonix treatment

Your experience seems to be very similar to mine thus far (I have been posting my experiences as a separate thread here). No real noiceable changes, except a couple for the worse - bloating, gas, every couple of days and semi-loose stools. I'm on Day 8 of the program. The Toxinout portion of the program appears to have made no impact at all.

The KleriTea has been giving me decent sleep thus far, although I am wide awake earlier in the morning than before. I find that I have to limit the steeping of the tea a good bit - anything more than 2 mins and I get cramping and loose stools the next day. I typically steep the tea for about 1.5 mins.

No other changes - no weight loss (my weight was fine to begin with) and no surges in energy either.

Thanks, it seems like we are having similar reactions to the program as well as being at virtually the same stage.  I will keep track of your thread, and compare notes!

Re: my colonix treatment

Well, here we are, Day 9 of the treatment, and now I have finally begun to see some real results. I have been taking 4 Paranil capsules and a full scoop of the fiber gel since Day 5, and last night steeped the Kleri tea for 11 minutes. I have been drinking large amounts of water, but seeing advice on other sections of this forum that this may be contributing to such loose stools, I drank less yesterday.

This morning I woke with the sensation that I needed to go to the bathroom, and had a large bm. Until now, I haven't been able to bring myself to really poke around there, but curiosity got the better of me this morning, and while the stools looked normal in the bowl (if a little 'spongy' looking) when I fished around I realized that I had passed one of those awful rope-like things. This one was easily 10-12" long, although hard to be exact as  it broke up almost immediately.  I was horrified but at the same time relieved (there's a pun there somewhere!) that something seems to be happening!

However, I have since had feelings of diarrhea, only to pass a tiny bit of mucus like matter.  I also feel a bit nauseous.  Maybe I steeped the tea for too long.

Anyway, that's the news today, folks, will keep posting my experiences.

Thanks for the update, I know it's an exciting day when you finally "see something". smile

Also, you're absolutely right about the rope-like stools. Sometimes it's hard to notice them unless you poke around a bit.

Re: my colonix treatment

Day 15 of the treatment.   I have been taking my 4 paranil tablets and one large scoop of the gel each morning (it still tastes disgusting to me) and drinking the tea each night, which I now steep for around 8-10 minutes.

My bowel movements seem to have settled into a pattern of one large movement each morning soon after waking.  The stools are bulky and there is definitely a great deal of mucus.  Although at times I still have gas and bloating, I do feel a bit better and have lost that horrible feeling of fullness that I always had.  Before starting the treatment I constantly felt full-up (uncomfortably so).  Now that has gone, which is a definite plus.

Otherwise, nothing terribly dramatic to report, which is why I am not posting reports every day.

Reading other blogs and reports on the Colonix treatment, it seems to be that the second and third week is when things really start happening, so we shall see...

Re: my colonix treatment

Well, I am now on Day 29 and cannot wait to finish.  Tomorrow is Day 30 and I will not be repeating the program.

On the whole, I think I felt the most benefit from the program during week 2 - when I really started to see some results and did feel better.

However, for the last 10-15 days I have really not felt any benefits at all - quite the opposite in fact.  I have had the most awful bloating and gas: really, really uncomfortable to the extent that I nearly stopped the program.

My stools have been generally very spongy and soft - have not had any ropes for over a week.  For a couple of days I had constipation but that was my own fault as I was not drinking enough water.

I am relieved that I haven't passed any horrors as a result of the Paranil (at least, none I've seen!)

So, on the whole I don't regret doing the program but neither would I really consider paying all that money again.  I think that next time I shall just get some psyllium and bentonate and make my own shakes for a week or two - I've heard that is just as beneficial.

However, I will still check into the forum from time to time to check out you guys and how you are doing.

All the best,
JL

Re: my colonix treatment

I started on it 3 days ago saw rubber stuff that did not break up by the next morning. I work with animals, if anyone has parasites it should be me even though I do worm myself at times with animal wormer. being that human doctors refuse to do it. I never understood it.. we worm our animals, but never ourselves. Doctors never ask to check fecals on humans. every time you go to the vet fecals are checked. granted humans do not eat dirt or lick each others butts. but they surely pet animals. let them lick them on the face. Let them sleep in bed with them.

Re: my colonix treatment

Thanks for your informative experience. Have you decided to incorporate this program each year? Just wondering as I found it helped me a lot and so I continue to use it each year. I also  continue using the fiber every day in my breakfast shakes. It really keeps me on track.
