HELP! Scared of CRAMPING!

Hello, everyone!

I just ordered Colonix and am anxious to start.  However, I'm terrified of possible cramping!!!  I have a sensitive stomach and I'm a professor so, the ability to run to the restroom and endure large episodes of cramping is NOT an optiion for me.

Does anyone have any experiences with intolerable cramping or how to stem their intensity?  I read that prepping the tea for just a couple of minutes might ease any cramping I might experience.

Thanks to all!

Re: HELP! Scared of CRAMPING!

I have been on the program for a full week now, and I have started having severe cramping the last 2 nights. I think I steep my tea bag too long, because the last 2 nights have been spent waking up in the middle of the night with horrid cramps and having to release about 2-3 times before I can go back to sleep. I think this may be because I have a horrible diet and I'm sure plenty of toxins built up in my system.

I was never regular so atleast I am going 1-3 times a day in the first week, so it's probably worth it. I am new to the forum but will continue to report.

Re: HELP! Scared of CRAMPING!

Hi, If you have a job that will not alow you to go to the restroom for long periods of times Colonix is NOT for you. Maybey you should try a product more suited for people on the go who can't always stop and go to the bathroom. I take ACOG Colon Cleanse. It is a very gentle product that won't cause cramping but is very effective in cleansing the colon. To me it is far better than colonix because it also builds the bodies digestion, metabolism, and the elimination process. It also only makes me release more waste when I NATURALLY have to go to the bathroom. You should try it and compare the two. I did and found out that ACOG is a much better product for people who don't want to be cramping and can't always stop to go to the bathroom at any given time.

Just ordered the Colonix program but am now reading that you should not use Senna for more than 7 days because of dependency on it....can someone elaborate?

Re: HELP! Scared of CRAMPING!

You need to be careful with senna because you can become dependant on it but not in 7 days.  It is a strong laxative and you need this when you are cleansing because the stuff is so hard to move.  You should not use it when you are not on a cleanse.  If you get all the old build up out your colon should work in its own and you would not need a laxative so be careful but you do not need to worry about dependancy that quick

I had mild cramps often in the morning but nothing severe except for one time.  The literature that came with the Colonix said to expect mild cramps in the morning but I wasn't having any so one night I made the Claritea extra strong and had STRONG cramps the next morning but have had no problems since.
