Beginning my Colonix Treatment - missy -06/02/2008

Hi All
I am new to the group and I am glad I found this site. I have order Colonix for the first time with the ETA of 06/04/2008. I have never done any colon cleansing or detox of any kind, so I will need ALL the help and support I can get.

Short background:
Gender: Female
Height: 5"9'
Weight: 155 lbs
Age: 43

I started a quest to a new better me last July. I am happy with the progress so far. I have lost 55 pounds from eating reasonably healthy and moderate excersize. Reasonably = junk food now and then, mostly on my family's birthday. I am go to the gym 3 times a week for 30-40 minutes. It is a high protein (from mostly seafood) low carb diet.

I am in the best frame of mind as a result, but I am fascinated/intrigued about Colonix. The idea of some gunk/junk inside my body makes me cringe. The only way to find out and eliminate (if needed) is to do the cleanse.

I will start as soon as I get it and keep a journal as best as I can.
Wish me luck
Missy

Re: Beginning my Colonix Treatment - missy -06/02/2008

Started today and having issues already!!! Major BM and cramping!

I was going to wait till tomorrow to post BUT I NEED HELP FROM SOMEONE WHO DID THIS BEFORE.
1. SHOULD I DRINK THE TEA TONIGHT?
2. SHOULD I CUT THE DOSAGE IN HALF?

So my product arrived yesterday and as planned I started today. It started very well I may say. I had no problem with either the caspusles or the drink. I mixed my drink with 100% apple juice and life was good. I took the caspusles and drink , one after the other, and then I realize I was supposed to wait 15 min in between. Oh! Well! I will do it right tomorrow.
My day went normal until about 1:30 pm PST.

Breakfast  2 boiled eggs  - 2 hours after the drinks
Snack - protein bar
Lunch - Honey glazed grilled salmon with slices of tomato

20 minutes later IT STARTED.
I had this huge need to evacuate (yes, on day 1 before the Keri tea).
Sorry for the  gory details: II could have filled the toilet bowl if I did not flush 3 times.

Not bad enough? I am still going every 20min and its 4:10pm?

Ok. I stabilized around 5pm so I decided to go ahead and drink the tea at night. Much as I was dreading the taste from what I read,  it tasted OK. Steeped it for 2 minutes. I dont not add sugar to my tea and this tasted like another herbal tea. I guess it helps that I am used to drinking herbal teas.
Woke up with an urge to go this morning . Not a pressing urge, just normal morning routine for me,  though it was a wee bit more than I am used to.  Colour was lighter than usual. I take iron pills because I am borderline anemic and they tend to darken your BM. So I wonder if enough iron was absorbed into my system or was it mostly flushed out. Will move my iron pills to 6 hrs after the cleanse, just in case.

The best part? Lost 3 pounds this morning. YAY! Yes sports fans, I pooped 3 pounds worth of poop! Maybe 2 since I worked out at the gym too.

Though I am not doing this strictly for the weight loss, it is a welcomed by product. I will stop however if I reach my goal weight of 140, even if is is before the planned 2 monnths.

Day 4
Weight: 152 lbs
Haven't lost an ounce since the first day. Well,  I have been on a successfull weight loss schedule for the past several months. Loosing an average of 2 pounds a week, so I guess I am on target. I have'nt gone to the gymn since Tuesday (day 1) due to my crazy schedule this week, so I guess I can thank Colonix for keeping me on track.
I am not cramping as much as I did the first 2 days, not going as much either. It is much much more than normal, however. I let the tea bag stay in the cup while I sip my sugar less tea.
Other than being more on the regular, I have'nt noticed any thing else. But I am still excited and optimistic this will work for me.

Congrats on your start with Colonix and for a sensible weight loss approach, too. I don't feel weight loss is a primary goal of the program but some find that is an added benefit. I lost just a few pounds but felt better on so many different levels.

Thanks for sharing your experience here...keep us posted! smile

Re: Beginning my Colonix Treatment - missy -06/02/2008

Day 6
Nothing much to report. I have switched to 4 caspsules and the full scoop. Much less cramping before the big morning dump. I am down to 1 Big BM in the mornings and I am not complaining. I am very gassy for the rest of the day, not too bad but still not very comfy. I read somewhere that people lost some appetite. I am finding the opposite. I am ready to eat a whole cow every morning, something my personal trainer highly approves. Supposedly  when your metabolic rate increases you  wake very hungy in the morning. Ha? His words, not mine. Dont know if the colonix has anything to do with it (i sure hope) or my hard work at the gym finally paying off. So needless to say I havent lost an ounce again due to the increased food intake. I am still eating pretty healthy just more food than I normally do. Still optimistic.
