Hi all,
I thought I'd document my experience with Colonix here in case it helps anyone. I started yesterday with the 2 paranil capsules in the morning and the fiber mixed with some soymilk and followed with the glass of water as directed. I did not need to use the restroom until around lunchtime. What came out was pretty average looking but it was solid which for me is an improvement. I'm used to chronic diarrhea (I've noticed sticking with soymilk and avoiding gluten can help with the diarrhea but I'm not perfect about sticking to those food substitutes). Anyway, the nicest part was that after I went I felt very empty afterwards. I've never had that sensation before. In the evening I did the 2 toxinout capsules and 2 detoxigreen (I'm doing Toxinout as well) before and with my dinner respectively and then enjoyed the tea afterwards.
As for flavor - The tea smells stronger in the bag than it does after you've steeped it. It put me off at first but once you steep it it tastes and smells like a simple green/herbal tea blend. It's pleasant and relaxing. I should also mention that the fiber tastes fine. I mixed it chocolate soymilk the first day and that was very good. I used plain soymilk the next day and that was fine too. Mild banana flavor just like they say.
Today same routine with the pills, fiber and tea. I did not have to go until lunch time again. I wasn't really expecting to see anything being that most people don't until the first week or so is up, however there were some long, thin, flat white-ish colored strips mixed in today. I told my boyfriend (thankfully we have a very open relationship - no secrets here, no matter how gross!) and he suspected they were parasites. We were discussing the program so far and suddenly I had to use the bathroom again! I don't know if it was the power of suggestion or what but I had to go pretty badly. This experience the stool was very very loose, but it did not burn like my normal diarrhea. It was also very very dark colored. I wanted to look at it more closely but my gag relex was starting to take over so I flushed quick. The smell was awful. I did feel better after going though.
After I finished I was curious to see the photos on dr natura's website again, so I looked them up. I kept exclaiming how gross it all was and blah blah blah... the next thing I knew my boyfriend had looked up on his computer what a tape worm looked like. I immediately thought I was gonna throw up -- it looked A LOT like what had come out of me at lunch time today. I was horrified. Glad to be rid of it, but definitely horrified. Boyfriend says, "Is that what it looked like?" And I said, "Uh, yeah... it was flat like that, with sharp edges sort of." He says, "well that makes sense. this is a fish tape worm... you get it from eating raw fish!" Ya'll have to understand, I LOVE sushi. I eat it all the time. So here is this worm you get from eating raw fish, salmon in particular. Guess what type of sushi is my favorite?!? You betcha. Salmon.
So anyway, that's the story to date. Sorry this got so long. Feel free to email me if you have questions.
Take care,
Sandra

Thanks for being willing to share your experience. I think it will help others who wonder about the effectiveness of the program and possible reactions to the cleansing process.

No problem Laura!
Today I actually took the time to put my fiber soy milk concoction in the blender and it came out much smoother. It really starts to lump up quick if you just stir it with a spoon. Doesn't taste bad to me, however those who are picky about the texture of their food may dislike it just "stirred."
More to follow later...

That's great Sandra, please keep us posted of your day to day progress. ![]()

Hi all,
Update for today is, in a word, CONSTIPATED. I did NOT drink enough water. At least that's the best I can tell. I upped my water intake after lunch and eventually I went but I was straining and I never have to do that. So lesson learned. They mean what they say about the water.
I'm steeping my tea for a full 2 minutes tonight after 1 min the first night and 1.5 min the second night. I will continue to up it by 30 seconds until I find the right strength for me.
That's all for today.
Cheers,
Sandra

Regarding mixing fiber, we found a cup with a lid works fairly well just shaking it and quickly drinking it. That also works if you're traveling and trying to keep up the program. I premeasured my fiber for each day and stuck it in plastic wrap tied off with a bag tie and put each individual portion in a baggie. Made it simpler than carting my fiber container and measuring spoon.

Oh that's a good idea. I do travel for work so I was trying to decide if it was worth it to continue the program while I was away, or just pick back up when I returned home. Do you think there would be any ill effects if I skipped it for a few days here and there?

I don't think there would be any ill effects in skipping. I did delay when I took my fiber when I had a long day on the road and didn't want to drink a lot of water. But my system gets a little goofy when I travel and drink different water (especially chlorinated) so I thought keeping up the regimen as best I could would be better for me. Plus, it's so easy to break a good habit so if at all possible I think it would be best to keep up the momentum of the program if possible.

Yes, momentum is good. I skipped the tea the last few nights because my evenings can be crazy. By the time I'm ready for bed, I don't want to take 20 minutes out to heat the water and drink it... silly but true.
This weekend I think whatever was causing the constipation passed because I had horrible gas on Saturday and went to the bathroom about 6 or 7 times in as many hours. By 1am the last of it was through my system and I felt much better Sunday morning (aside from the hangover, but that's a separate issue! lol).
I haven't passed anything notable recently but I'll post as soon as I do!

Hi everyone,
I am now on Day 6 on my Colonix program. Haven't posted any news because really there has not been much to report. I am now on 4 paranil tablets and 1 scoop of the fiber and taking it religiously. Also the Kleri tea at night.
Apart from a regular bowel movement every day - I have not really noticed a huge improvement or felt any better. On the contrary, my stomach seems to have bloated out quite a bit and I have had some stomach cramps. I don't think I'll lose any weight because I am not overweight to start with but I did think my stomach might start to flatten. The stools have been a bit mucosy, and yesterday although not a great amount was passed, it was decidedly ropy, a bit like those horror pictures some have reported! However, I don't know if that isn't just the fiber gel doing that. I'm beginning to get skeptical as you can see.
The first night the Kleri tea gave me a wonderful night's sleep. However, I have not been sleeping at all well since then.
Well, I shall keep on anyway! Looking through most people's reports, not much happens anyway inthe first week so maybe I'm just being impatient! We'll see......

Sorry, I think I have posted my own thread onto yours, Smurfette. I will repost it. Apologies! ![]()

Hey, No problem. :-)
Not much to report here either. I upped to two scoops and got a lot more stuff out, but I'm not going digging in it so I can't give details. It was definitely different than "normal" though. I'm going away for a few days and decided it would be easier to skip it instead of trying to fit it in. I think. We'll see how much room I have in my suitcase. When I return I think I will move up to two scoops everyday.

I wondered about upping the 'dosage' from one to two scoops to get better results! Like you, I can't yet bring myself to dig around in what is produced, but if things don't start getting a bit more dramatic in the next few days, I may well up to 2 scoops. Shame you have to skip the program for a few days - hope it doesn't set you back. From reading people's reports, it does seem to progress the further into the program you get.
Happy travels!
