I think there is a lot of conflicting information and very creative testimonials about colon cleansing on the internet - unfortunately an awful lot of it has to do with selling product, marketing and stealth marketing. I could never understand why I needed to clean my colon when my colonoscopy pics show pristine healthy pink baby skin which appears to maintain itself in a perfectly healthy fashion. But I have been chronically constipated for most of my life, so I thought I would give a cleanse a try.

After 2 or 3 weeks I have had positive results and no problems with Colonix, and I am having significant regular BM's instead of my normal severe constipation. I do have the "stringy material" often identified as mucoid plaque. I do not know if this is a byproduct of taking the fiber, or if is actually mucous being removed from the body when "grabbed" by the fiber. I wish there was clear medical information on this. I did find a fascinating YouTube video by Dr. Hiromi Shinya which shows what healthy and unhealthy colons look like but the notion of bad mucoid plaque is generally not acknowledged by the medical community, even folks like Dr. Weil.

Now, here's the weird thing. After all these unbelievable internet stories about jellyfish and three headed medusas coming out of people, today I found what looked like a white button. At first I thought it was an aspirin tablet that had not dissolved for some reason. Closer examination revealed it to be plastic like and hollow. It had two pinholes on each side and could be pressed to collapse the shape into that of a spinal disc. Utterly bizarre. I am confounded!
