Does anyone else have a weird taste in their mouth that started after starting Colonix?
I looked online and they seemto link it to side affects of meds which I don't take , and pregnancy, which I'm not going through...so hmmmm.

Yes I have noticed this from time to time! Not sure what causes it... or if I should be worried.

Don't worry! It's not unusual when the body is detoxing. I've had massage clients experience it right after a massage. I also noticed it when I did the colonix cleanse. I didn't know if my old amalgams were a contributing factor in my case. I also experienced breast pain within the first month of the cleanse, off and on, in an area I had fibrocystic problems years before.
I also do ion cleanse footbaths and it sometimes causes an ache in the breast tissue (and my left leg where I have an old injury). Certain supplements have done the same thing. So unhealthy areas may react to various detoxifying modalities in an attempt to correct and balance itself or remove offensive toxins.

I had a similar experience when I first started the cleanse. I also wasn't drinking enough water and as a result, became very constipated. The metal taste is the result of built up toxins being being released into the blood stream. The best thing would be for them to be processed and exit out of the body. If you are constipated this process slows and then the toxins are free floating and available to do damage. This is why it is very very important to drink plenty of water when doing a liver cleanse (toxinout).
At any rate, the metallic taste IS normal for a cleanse, as are headaches, fatigue and other nasty feelings in the beginning - a sign that toxins are being released from tissues and ready to be filtered out of the body. Don't let it stop you because it is a sign that you need to keep going---to get rid of what's ailing you

As an update at day 30 ish: I haven't had the metallic taste in a long time. It was temporary.

I never noticed a metallic taste, but I'm glad to hear that your side effects are beginning to subside.
