Beginning my Colonix Treatment - MsCrappy - Feb.14,2008

Yeah, starting on Valentine's day how ROMANTIC is that? Guess it's a day I'll not forget.

It's actually day 3 for me and the I have to say that after the first 24 hours of being on it I don't think I've had more BM's in ONE DAY than on my 2nd day. It was all day long and I lost count after the 4th go.

Nothing significant that I could tell, however it was alot.  As my DH says "you're full of it" I guess he was right!

So far today, my 3rd day is much better. I've gone twice so far but no cramping like I had yesterday.

The first night after drinking the tea I woke in the middle of the night with terrible cramping thinking I was going to explode but nothing but gas.

Will report tomorrow how things go the rest of today.

Re: Beginning my Colonix Treatment - MsCrappy - Feb.14,2008

Yesterday at the end of the day I added a Pro and Prebiotic to my regime and I think that has helped some.

After my 2nd day I was feeling so weak and tired, not to mention despite all the water I was drinking I still felt dehydrated. I think the Pro & Pre Biotics are helping as today was a much better day.

All in all so far I've only gone number 2 TWICE so not nearly as bad as that 2nd day.

You should try it.  Don't be scared - it's really not that bad.

I was worried I couldn't drink down the tea or the fiber as I'm a wimp when it comes to that stuff but it's really not too bad. I use 1/2 100% juice and 1/2 water for my fiber drink and the tea is not too bad.  I've had better tea but I can take it. LOL.

Go FOR IT, don't be scared. Let us know how it goes too!

Signing off, Ms.Crappy

Re: Beginning my Colonix Treatment - MsCrappy - Feb.14,2008

I suppose I should have introduced myself and given a little bit of background in my First Post.

Sorry a little late but here goes:

I'm Female
Just turned 40 <ugh>
overweight by about 60 lbs.
Married with 3 children ages 21, 13 and 3

Began the program because my husband insisted we do it "TOGETHER" and feel the need to drastically improve my health after turning 40 and realizing that with an unexpected birth of a child 3 yrs ago feel I need to be around a bit longer than expected now to enjoy watching her grow up, graduate, get married, yada yada yada.

My husband is somewhat OCD on pooping and if he doesn't go 2-3 times a day something's wrong. Lately he's been doing the Atkins diet and has become constipated despite all the fiber he's been eating. So he figured we should do this program.

I'm not normally too regular but I'm not terribly irregular either.

In any case, I figured, couldn't hurt - MIGHT HELP.  So far I've lost 3 lbs in 3 days. Most of it on day 2.

Thanks for everyone's shares on this board as it has helped us to decide to go ahead and the reason we've purchased a 3 month supply for us.

Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Re: Beginning my Colonix Treatment - MsCrappy - Feb.14,2008

Start of Day 4 -
It's before 10am and I've already gone twice and noticed those rice like looking things in it.  I'm not one to poke such at it but did notice them scattered throughout.  I haven't read the boards enough to know if anyone knows what those are but I haven't had any rice or in weeks.  They almost look like maggots (which is really grossing me out)

Any ideas anyone as to what those are? Ew!

I am not having any burst of energy. I think I may need to add my MultiVitamins back into my diet which I had stopped a few weeks ago out of pure laziness.

I have added a Pre & Probiotic which seems to help with the bloating and gas pains I had in the middle of the night or at least I think they are helping.

Will keep you posted on the how the rest of the day goes.

Ewwww Totally disgusting!

So Update, I've gone a total of 5 times today.  The last couple times were more like diarrhea and very runny.  Hopefully tomorrow won't be so exhausting for me ugh!

Thanks for sharing CollegeChick ;-)
